Weekly Update #2 - Week Ending Dec 14, 2025

ASYS PPIH FEIM KEQU CCEL VELO KLNG

As this Substack’s Microcap Quality Index Platform (MSMqi) has significantly grown in size to 127 stocks, we’ve entered a new phase in the evolution of this Substack’s original intent👉 to provide the most comprehensive list of microcap stocks worth tracking in North America. We even touched on a few stocks we own and sold.

Here are the 17 stocks we discussed in the video, starting with 7 stocks in our Spotlight Index (launched in April 2024), now up 57.37% across 13 stocks.

Spotlights:

  • ASYS: Strong quarterly results, management’s turnaround, and its 150% return since being added to the spotlight index.

  • PPIH: Very strong quarterly results with momentum in the MENA region and strong operating leverage. The stock is currently up 53% since being added to the spotlight index.

  • FEIM: Bullish outlook in last Friday’s earnings call and commentary on valuation. FEIM is the strongest performer in the index, up more than 400% since it was added to the index.

  • KEQU: Commentary on the recent quarter and management’s mixed comments on the future outlook. However, the long-term MultiBagger thesis is still intact. It is currently down 22% since being added to the spotlight index.

  • CCEL: Maj discussed how when CCEL was put into the Spotlight index because it had put a strong dividend in place, not because he was overly bullish on the business. Well, the dividend was discontinued, making this the least favorite stock in the Spotlight Index. The stock is down 53% since being added to the spotlight index.

  • KLNG: ICFM (Ian Cassel) increased its KLNG ownership to 10.2% of the company. Up 37% since being added to the MSMqi 2025 Index.

  • PXHI: Comments on PXHI’s new software product (launch in early 2026) that will significantly expand the company’s target market. Down 12% since being added to the MSMqi 2025 Index, but paid a special dividend that equated to a 57.8% yield. We think the PXHI opportunity could be one of the most misunderstood and under-appreciated stocks in microcap land.

Other MSMqi Stocks, including potential 2 NEW Spotlight Stocks:

  • VELO: Commentary on the recent run-up after management’s comments on having SpaceEx as a customer and a partnership with Anduril. Up 81% since added to the MSMqi 2025 Index.

  • The remaining stocks discussed are OCC WSTL CECO OPXS QBAK CWL.TO GENC and COV.V
